satisfactory stay with a few drawbacks
great location helpful receptionist poor wifi obstructed view
the location was great, just across from the lake. the receptionist was very helpful (and friendly!).
The wifi was super bad. It barely worked in my room. i booked a room with a lake view, but i was given a room on the second floorwith more of a street view.

faulty door inconsistent temperature
The balcony door didn't close properly. it was annoying. the shower was old and the temperature was not consistent. It kept switching from hot to cold. That WAS frustrating. I had to keep adjusting it.

run-down balcony confusing parking rates
The location was great. I could easily access sights of the Swiss Riviera (it was right outside the door!).
The balcony was quite run down, I must say. It really needs replacement, honestly. Parking in the garage nearby also proved difficult. Weekend hours meant there was no attendant present. I needed to figure out the long-term parking rates, I found it very confusing.

large bed convenient location unreliable wifi street noise
the location of the hotel was convenient, just a short walk from the train station. i had a room facing the lake, offering a lovely view. the bed was comfortable and quite large.
The wifi was unreliable, lacking any network connection in my room. i mentioned this to the reception but was told it was working. i still had no access to it. the room felt quite basic. noise from the street was noticeable.

Excellent Location with Lake Views
easy access early check-in luggage storage helpful staff
The check-in process used automation, but assistance arrived quickly when I rang the bell. I appreciated the early check-in and luggage storage. The location provides easy access to the lake and surrounding areas on foot. I found the staff to be cheerful and helpful .

This hotel offers excellent proximity to the train station, commercial center, and casino. The Freddie Mercury statue is also nearby. I enjoyed a very good lake view from my room.

The breakfast included croissants and sourdough bread. There were also cornflakes and a coffee machine available. A selection of juices was offered to guests.

The front desk staff assisted with a first aid kit. This demonstrated helpfulness and attentiveness. The receptionist was very nice.

nice view discounted tickets bright receptionist
the receptionist was very bright. i checked in immediately despite arriving earlier than planned. the lake view from my balcony was nice. i got very discounted tickets to chaplin's world through the hotel.
my balcony doors wouldn't stay shut.

lovely lakeside experience
lake view comfortable bed convenient location
i was charmed by the lake view room. it featured a comfortable bed and ample space. the location proved convenient with proximity to the train station.
the room's lock seemed to have been repaired after a previous break-in. this, since there wasn't an additional deadbolt.

Breakfast was available. Though i didn't partake, it was to offer basic options. the immediate area includes a good selection of alternative dining choices, with many restaurants in walking distance.

an elevator offered easy access to upper floors. the building has a historic character, however the rooms have been updated with modern surfaces. local parking is conveniently accessible across the street from the hotel.
